Brave Explorers Internship

Getting experience in the field of psychology can be challenging — especially for undergrads — Brave Seattle provides opportunities for you to begin exploring the field of mental health, education, counseling, and behavioral therapy! We are recruiting passionate individuals who are responsible, proactive, and ready to be part of our clients’ journeys to bravely speaking.

Our program is founded upon the standard of excellence and care that was set by clinicians specializing in selective mutism who first held intensive treatment camps in the United States and have aided us in our clinical training; namely, Dr. Steven Kurtz, the founder of PCIT-SM and director of Mighty Mouth Camp, and, Dr. Carmen Lynas, the director of Adventure Camp in Chicago, IL, and a consultant to Brave Explorers Camp.

Ideal for undergraduate students or those starting to explore psychology, speech-language pathology, social work, education, and other related careers. This is a flexible, three-and-a-half-month internship, with hands-on experience in behavioral health, a clinical support role, and training to support you throughout the process; some stellar interns do get some direct clinical experience; depending upon their performance and willingness to jump into roles! Brave Clinic loves to hire interns from camp for administrative roles beyond camp!
