Insurance Guidance

Services start at $140 per clinical hour

Brave Seattle is out-of-network with all insurance providers. Our team is eager to help you mobilize support and can assist by providing documentation to help your process. Clients are responsible for payment at the time of service. Many families within our Brave Community opt to submit their visit claims, or “superbills,” to their insurance. Success varies depending upon individual plans, but many do receive reimbursement. If you are interested in working with one of our trainees for assessment and/or treatment, fees are reduced by 10-60% when a licensed provider is not observing or participating in the session. Trainee sessions without live supervision are typically ineligible for insurance reimbursement, so it’s important to understand your plan. To reduce treatment cost for families our groups, camps and field trips are offered at a reduced “trainee-rate” but billed under the supervising clinician’s name.

If pursuing care feels out of reach for your family, please start by reviewing the insurance guide below and then connect with our operations manager by scheduling a call by clicking the button above. The following is a guidebook developed by our team in order to help families navigate their insurance; we are not experts in the ever-changing, complex maze of insurance reimbursement, but can guide you to resources such as companies that offer to submit claims and negotiate out of network reimbursement on patients’ behalf. Our training clinic is a cost-saving option for families who want to work with our team but lack out-of-network benefits.
